Memofix began life in the 1980s as Canada's only authorized repair center for Seagate, Conner and Miniscribe hard drives. In the 1990's we expanded to servicing all formats of tape for ADIC, DEC, Compaq, HP and Quantum. In the 2000's, Memofix became the authorized repair centre for Certance, Sun Microsystem/Oracle and Antec.

Today we continue to specialize in hard drives and tape drives; servicing almost 3000 assorted drives, tapes and systems every month. With such an immense volume of devices, we have had the opportunity to successfully recover data from virtually every model of hard drive and tape manufactured.

Each type of storage media has their own design characteristics and causes of failure. With a dedicated research team, Memofix has developed extensive electronic and software tools and methods for recovery.
